Network Security Analyst

The CERT analyst is responsible for aspects of the client incident response team including analyzing data to look for indications of security events, coordinating remediation actions with other IT groups, and responding to incidents.
 
Incident Management
 

• Monitor client and other client Systems for anomalous events and respond in a timely manner
• Identify, verify, and respond to anomalous activity or security events on client network
• Monitor, review, and respond to Content Management alerts and logs
• Review and respond to firewall and IPS security alerts
• Analyze, verify, and respond to AV and Malware events on client workstations and servers
• Respond appropriately to security events. Coordinate with other client teams for investigation and remediation
• Stay current with security threat landscape and identify threats that may impact client

 
Abuse Management
 

• Analyze, verify, and respond to AV and Malware events on client workstations and servers
• Monitor and respond to Data loss Prevention events and escalate where necessary
• Identify, coordinate, and correct users in security policy violations
• Respond appropriately to security events. Coordinate with other client teams for investigation and remediation

 
Requirements
 

• Bachelor’s or Higher degree
• 3+ years’ experience with security and security incident handling
• CISSP highly preferred
• CEH, OSCP, GPEN a plus

 
Preferred Knowledge
 

• Security SIM technology (Qradar preferred)
• Incident response and analysis
• Windows networking, workstation, server technologies
• AV, Malware, worms, and other security threats
• Security vulnerability and threat management
• UNIX and related technology
• Firewalls (Fortinet), networking devices, netflows, network architecture, sniffers, network analyzers
• Familiarity with manufacturing and plant environments
• SCADA and manufacturing infrastructure
