Dr No is the one that first really scared the sh*t out of me. Episodes range from 40 minutes to 80 minutes, with some Serial Killers having one episode tell their story and others, like the IceMan (Richard Kuklinski), needing 4-5 episodes to tell the entire story. Episode 76 - "The Big Lick" (about Tennessee Walking Horses, animal abuse, and mob crime relating to the long-standing tradition of "soring" walking horses) Episode 51 - "Money Tree" (about child identity theft) Episode 68 - "All the Time in the World" (a forensics episode … About Crime Junkie Crime Junkie is a weekly true crime podcast dedicated to giving you a fix. Its just not funny. Like, the in depth story telling, the emotion he conveyed and the care he had for Susan Powell’s case. So true! The recording of the guy who said his brother killed and dumped the body was pretty clear, but Brit, in her true white girl self, asks if it was fuzzy? From murder to missing persons, there are an endless number of true crime cases. It’s definitely a crazy case. and for some reason the case about Charlie Brandt really fucks me up. others like that are casefile, true crime all the time, true crime unsolved, sword & scale (but we all know hes a bit of a douche), unsolved murders, and the vanished.

I really enjoy podcasts that have individual episodes, or maybe a few episodes that are linked together. Serial is good but it’s sleepy-time voice, IMO.

Yeah I thought the hosts were a little too try-hard and obnoxious. My fave murder is great but wow so much lead up crap and the live shows are super slow and lately they are REACHING! So sad but the one about the Girl Scout camp really stuck with me. Spotify doesn't seem to have that feature. I’ve heard mention of an ongoing case in their area, but not much else. Hope this helps, Oh, kk. Reason being, CJ paints Israel as a normal dude, when in reality he is super into metal music, is super calculated, and has a SUPER fucked up mindset, which LPOTL takes a deeeeep dive into. Also the yuba county 5 episode. The Asha Degree episode still haunts me. Then when I'm working, I can just start the playlist and they just play back to back.

I absolutely love the Crime Junkie podcast, and patiently await Monday morning's for a new episode to listen to on my way to work. Jim Clementi (Real Crime Profile) is getting a bit too old as well, he is larger than life these days and while he has been a great operative he needs to realise he has an audience that is critical of his ego! Brian Shaffer is probably one of the craziest cases I’ve heard in a while. I also like Casefile for particular cases (but its Australia-focused), Crime Junkie is good for general overviews with some banter, True Crime Garage is pretty good but sometimes it gets a little boring and the dynamic between the hosts gets weird but it's super detailed. I really liked the Kacie Woody episode, the newer mysterious one about Tamla Horsford and Joseph Smedley.

I listened to the Kacie one! Like Brit, your white women ignorance is really showing in today’s episode... I’m only about 10 mins in, but there are already two moments that really stick out as being so ignorant they’re mildly racist: Where Brit asks if the main guys name in pronounced wrong (are you correcting the pronunciation of a persons name?).

As part of this mission, r/podcasts is curated to promote respectful and on-topic discussions. I had to stop immediately because we were watching in bed and that made me incredibly anxious!! ... 4.8 out of 5. It doesn't get mentioned because it's no good....Crime Junkie does however. Red Handed is quite similar in build to Crime Junkie.

Israel Keyes for sure! I'll have to check it out!

I also listen to CaseFile and Australian True Crime (yeah I'm Aussie). 36:36 | Dec 25th, 2017 More Details keyboard_arrow_right. Press J to jump to the feed. The episode about Adnan was ridiculous. Is it on spotify? Ashley should be doing this podcast on her own or bring on other guests.

I do like their format because it reminds me of two best friends chatting late at night, like omg, let me tell you what I just read on the internet!

I have also tried Sword and Scale, but sometimes have difficulties understanding the recordings, and prefer small clips of interviews/interrogations/911 calls.

So! Lol I feel the same way. Things! I saved it and I’ll be checking them out. Top tier podcasting. Here’s why I’m using this one...”.

Their case did not deserve to go unheard of, or be shadowed by the GSK, so "Crime Junkie" decided to give them recognition. It was honestly the first podcast I’d ever listened to that I had a very emotional and visceral response to. That recording! Edit to add: Swindled.

A post shared by Crime Junkie (@crimejunkiepodcast) on Nov 18, 2018 at 6:17am PST This episode was the first episode I listened to, and I’ve listened to it again since 4 or 5 times. Open discussion about the Crime Junkie podcast. Court Junkie is a good but gets super slow, the 'True Crime' Canadian and Sweden so-so; ok for a listen now and then. Bryce Laspisa, Brian Shaffer, Alyssa Turney, Bible John, Katelin Akens, and The West Mesa Serial Killer.

His stories sell not his opinion on crime! I am more of an episodic kind of guy when it comes to true crime podcasts but my god "The man in the Window" was phenomenal, New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast.

I’m actually starting that one right now. I am almost done with Court Junkie (also great). The details shared about Tamika's dog were harrowing. You may like The Evidence Locker.

They go into detail about the case, the lead up and the aftermath. Crime Junkie is the only thing that comes close though. I just realized you said episodes so here are some of my fave episodes of Criminal: Episode 76 - "The Big Lick" (about Tennessee Walking Horses, animal abuse, and mob crime relating to the long-standing tradition of "soring" walking horses), Episode 51 - "Money Tree" (about child identity theft), Episode 68 - "All the Time in the World" (a forensics episode about the "body farm" at Texas State University), Episode 33 - "Deep Dive" (about a professional police diver who goes into the La Brea Tar Pits to look for evidence), My personal favorite was the episode “Animal Instincts”, Dr death.
